Generation Success is partnering with TD Securities to offer highly competent, intelligent  graduates a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join the technology internship programme at TD in  their London Office. From the first day you join the TDS Technology internship programme, you’ll be working as part of a global team at one of the world's largest banking institutions. 

You will join TD Securities Technology team in one of the following teams:

FI e-Trading Development

e-infrastructure KDB Development

Pricing and Risk Development

Model Documentation

Production Engineering

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for highly competent, intelligent undergraduates (2nd year/ Penultimate year students graduating in 2024) that thrive under pressure and can adapt to changing situations. You will also be required to work closely with colleagues from other divisions and other regions across TD Securities daily.

Technical skills

Proficiency in MS Office tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Data Analytics knowledge
Intermediate Programming knowledge in Java:-
- Java coding and debugging
- Javascript experience (ideally React or other JavaScript frameworks like Angular, or Vue, etc)
Additional nice to have
Experience with BigData tech like Spark, Kafka, HDFS
API design and/or GraphQL
Familiarity with Cloud technologies

 To be successful in these roles you will ideally bring the following:

A genuine interest in finance and technology. 


Experience in computer programming languages and concepts (e.g. Java, Javascript  etc). 


A current degree programme in Maths, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Studies.


Analytical and problem-solving skills. 


A natural curiosity and interest in current affairs. 


Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across teams and regions and deliver accurate results under time pressure.


Good interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on being a team player. 


A willingness to learn and demonstrate a growth mindset. 


Initial term contract for the internship is 10 weeks from 26 June 2023 – 1 September 2023. The role will be based in TD London Office at 60 Threadneedle Street (including an element of remote working where appropriate). Prior to any formal offer being made, successful applicants must provide proof of their unrestricted right to live & work in the United Kingdom.
